A few years ago, I never imagined I’d be running a business.
Wanting More Flexibility
Like many people, I was working hard, raising my family, and doing everything I could to make ends meet. But as a mom of seven, I often felt like there weren’t enough hours in the day.
I wanted more flexibility.
I wanted more time with my kids.
I wanted something that belonged to me.
Looking for Another Option
That doesn’t mean I was unhappy with my job. It simply meant I wanted another option something that would allow me to create additional income while building a future on my own terms.
The hardest part wasn’t getting started.
The hardest part was believing I could actually do it.
Learning to Believe I Could
I spent a lot of time wondering if I was qualified, experienced enough, or capable of building something successful. Looking back, I realize most people feel the same way when they start something new.
The truth is, confidence doesn’t come before action.
Confidence comes from taking action.
Growing One Step at a Time
Every booking, every conversation, every lesson learned helped me grow a little more.
Today, my business gives me the opportunity to help others create amazing memories while also showing my children what perseverance looks like.
Am I where I want to be yet? No.
But I’m farther than I was yesterday.
And that’s what growth is all about.
Start Before You Feel Ready
If you’re thinking about starting a side hustle, my advice is simple:
Don’t wait until you feel ready.
Start before you’re ready.
Learn as you go.
The version of you six months from now will be glad you did.
